Här är hela gänget bakom @team59, supportbil, chaufför av servicebil och goa vänner. I Dubrovnik är alla samlade men dagen efter viker Erik, Figge, Palle, Peter och Bobbie av för hemresa mot Sverige. Thomas och Robin hänger med till Athen för att därifrån köra Porschen hem när Timo och Klas fortsätter till Mykonos där vi väntar?

Here is the whole gang behind @ team59, support car, driver of service car and good friends. In Dubrovnik everyone is gathered but tthe day after Erik, Figge, Palle, Peter and Bobbie are off for a trip back to Sweden. Thomas and Robin will go to Athens to drive the Porsche home when Timo and Klas continue to Mykonos where we are waiting?

Vi kom till Riga 30 juni för att se starten för Riga to Mykonos 02juli. Timo ska deltaga med en Lancia 037 group B rallybil som är nåt väldigt speciellt i bilsammanhang.

Innan start var det några roliga partyn, lite sightseeing i Riga och naturligtvis beskådning av alla bilar. Många härliga människor, varav en del riktiga Gumball entusiaster?

Timo har även med sig en Porsche som supportbil och ett helt gäng i en servicebil.

We came to Riga on June 30 to see the start of Riga to Mykonos 02july. Timo will participate in a Lancia 037 group B rally car that is very very special in car situations.

Before starting there was some fun party, some sightseeing in Riga and of course the view of all cars. Many lovely people, some of which are real Gumball enthusiasts

Timo also has a Porsche as a support car and a whole gang in a servicecar?

This has to be up there with one of the best ever Gumball3000 cars.

Vi har ju varit hemma ett tag efter vår roadtrip i USA, tiden gick för fort och dåligt med internet att uppdatera bloggen. Försöker nu summera roadtripen i USA men det är svårt eftersom jag efterhemkomst har jobbat mycket och knappt hunnit reflekterat över vår roadtrip, kanske måste jag återkomma.

Det var en annorlunda resa med många härliga naturupplevelser från bilrutan, härligt sällskap och roliga upplevelser. Vi besökte en Amish familj och det var en annorlunda upplevelse.

Vi kom sen fram till Hot Power tour och träffade en massa härliga människor och fräna bilar.

Vår resa slutade lite drastiskt, brandbilen som hade Cougarn på släp började brinna och vi fick tillkalla brandbil:), och bärgare och polis, allt löste sig så smånigom, bilen blev bärgad till vekstad och vi tog in på hotell runt 12 på natten. Dagen efter tog vi ett flyg tillbaka till Los Angeles för hemresa till Sverige dagen därpå. De andra fotsatte så småningom sin roadtrip mot New York med många härliga upplevevelser.

We have been home a while after our road trip in the United States, the time went too fast with the internet to update the blog. I’m trying to summarize the road trip in the United States but it’s hard because I’ve worked a lot and hardly reflected on our road trip, maybe I’ll have to come back.

It was a different journey with many wonderful natural experiences from the car window, lovely company and fun experiences. We visited an Amish family and it was a different experience.

We arrived late at the Hot Power tour and met a lot of lovely people and fired cars.

Our trip ended a bit drastically, the fire truck that had Cougarn on trailer began to burn and we got a fire truck :), and the carrier and police, everything was so bad, the car was getting ready to grow and we entered hotels around 12 at night. The following day we took a flight back to Los Angeles for a trip to Sweden the following day. The others eventually took their roadtrip to New York with many wonderful experiences.

Halloj, vi startade kl 07:30 och gav oss ut på Lincoln Highway där vi fortsätter på vår Roadtrip USA. Vi tar ibland en avstickare på gamla Lincoln Highway. Då har vi möjlighet att stanna till i byar/ små städer. Vi stannade först till i Brule där vi tittade på en gammal , roligt:)
Nästa stopp blev i Ogallala, Nebraska som visade upp en del av Vilda Western, det föll mig mer in i smaken. Var vi än stannar kommer människor fram och vill ta kort på brandbilen och Cougarn, alla är så glada, trevliga och nyfikna.
I stekande hetta och strålande sol klev vi ur bussen i tryckande 100 degrees farenheit. Vi hade då hamnat i North Platte och besökte Buffalo Bill Ranch. En vacker ranch i vacker miljö där jag nästan hörde Bufflarna rusa fram över det öppna landskapet och känna hur vilda western livet pågick.
Nästa stop efter Lincoln Highway blir hos bilsamlaren Monte Hollertz i Elm Creek, Nebraska som öppnade ett museum av alla sina bilar, Chewyland. Han blev besatt av att köpa gamla bilar och detta får jag skriva met om i ett eget inlägg.
Roadtripen genom USA har sedan fortsatt tills vi nu stannat i Syracuse, Nebraska  för natten 23:30 innan vi far vidare imorgon not Kansas City kl 08:00.

We started at 7:30 and left us on Lincoln Highway where we continued on our Roadtrip USA. We sometimes take a detour on the old Lincoln Highway. Then we have the opportunity to stay in villages / small towns. We first stayed in Brule where we looked at an old car scrap, fun
The next stop was in Ogallala, Nebraska, which showed up a part of Wild Western, it fell me more into the taste. Wherever we go, people come forward and want to take a short break on the fire truck and Cougarn, everyone is so happy, nice and curious.
In hot spikes and radiant sun, we got out of the bus in a pushing 100 degrees farenheit. We then ended up in North Platte and visited Buffalo Bill Ranch. A beautiful ranch in a beautiful setting where I almost heard the buffalo rush over the open countryside and feel how wild western life was going on.
Next stop after Lincoln Highway will be with car collector Monte Hollertz in Elm Creek, Nebraska which opened a museum of all their cars, Chewyland. He was obsessed with buying old cars, and I can write this in a separate post.
The road trip through the United States has continued until we have now stayed in Syracuse, Nebraska for the night at 23:30 before we move on to Kansas City at 08:00.
